Reboot Loop, WiFi dead und battery issues

Hi Brax Team,

my Phone kind of died.

It reboots every few minutes with a yellow „flash“. It is not possible to install an OS update. At the beggining it was not possible because of the reboots and after a few tries the WiFi died. It is not possible to connect
, even after a factory reset of the Phone. While searching for a cause I found out that the battery seems to be kind of dead (see Screenshot). It is possible to charge until full, but the status at the phone options is still showing 0% of capacity left. I have no idea what has happened, but the Phone is not usable.

Kind regards

As @Igor_Shotsky said email support and include link here to show you have already done troubleshooting.

Also put your order number and something like faulty phone or replacement phone in the subject line.

It will still take a day or two or so for you to get a human response - the initial response is just automated message to cover people with simpler questions.

This is what I got:

Thank you for reaching out.

We are able to replace your BraX3 with another one.
However, before we do that, I just wanted to let you know that in over 98% of the cases, the issue is software related and a physical device replacement won’t resolve the issue.

We strongly suggest that you share your issue through our community forum at https://community.braxtech.net/.
That’s where our product team — along with knowledgeable community members — can help you quickly and directly.

First seeing whether your issue is software-related, can save you days of phone replacement procedure that may not result in a fix for your issue.

In case you’ve already written, and the issue has been determined to be hardware-related, please share a reference to your post from our forum and we can process a replacement.

Best regards,

I have no clue how this can be an software issue. Please help me out, so I can repair my phone or get a new one.

I would reply that you HAVE posted on this site and was unable to resolve the issue with feedback.

Frankly, if the phone will not boot and stay running I don’t know how you can possibly repair a “software” related issue!

Attach the URL to this discussion as proof of trying.

I did attach the URL in my first message, so I also don’t understand how they can send this answer to me. I’ll try again.

Sometimes you just have to be persistent. :man_shrugging:

Yep - just be patient and reply back explaining what you have tried and linking here again, etc…
