My BraX3 SIM tray does not have a corner cut for orientation. Why not? Does this mean my SIM is not compatible?
In a similar thread, I’m having hell getting my stupid micro sim to fit and stay in the slot when I try and install it. Is there some trick to this?
Thanks, Valandur. In every other phone I have had, the method of getting it to fit and stay snug is via the corner cut. I am still hoping to hear from Brax stating either that the corner cut was inappropriate for this piece of hardware (for whatever reason) or that this was a design deficiency that they’d be willing to remediate by manufacturing and distributing a new SIM Tray.
I finally got my card installed. I have a micro sim and it had to be installed with the white side, the back facing up. Maybe try that if you have a micro sim?
Just to be clear, friend, your micro SIM does have the cut corner?
Mine doesn’t. It took a while of fiddling with the alignment, but eventually by turning the card over it worked.
To be clear, neither your SIM nor your tray has the corner cut?
Correct. Neither tray nor my SIM have a corner cut off.
