I received my phone this week. Thank you to the team! So far, so good. I’m transitioning from an iPhone so there’s a bit of a learning curve but I’ve found everything I need so far. I’ve just been using it on my wifi at home while I’m playing around with it, and trying to get things set up.
I do have a question. This is my first privacy based phone and I was wondering the best place or topic to dive into a basic understanding of the permissions? I’m fuzzy on how the privacy aspect of it works - in general. Any input (like I’m a kindergartner because I pretty much am) would be appreciated. Thank you!
As far as I know there is no best place to start… except rob braxman’s forum.
There you’ll find many chat topics on privacy. You’ll just have to start reading the chats to get an idea of whatever is being discussed. Little by little you’ll start to comprenhend the bigger picture.
The is no “start guide” but you’ll be able to ask questions… like here, you may or may not get an answer.
I think the most important thing to keep in mind is: do not log into anything google. Or apple…
