The major frequency in Japan support

I want to buy your phones.I have dual citizenship in the United States and in Japan. Most American phones only support the lower speed networks like LTE. The main frequency is the one I’m most concerned about and your documentation does not specify band 19

Official Brax3 spec sheets do not clearly list Band 19, which is one of the important Japanese LTE bands used by carriers like NTT Docomo and KDDI. IBand 19 matters to me. In Japan band 19 coverage, is everywhere without it I could be limited.

Other research.

LTE (4G) bands used in Japan
These are the big ones to know:
Band 1 (2100 MHz) – very common, nationwide
Band 3 (1800 MHz) – common, urban
Band 8 (900 MHz) – important for coverage (SoftBank)
Band 18 / 26 (800 MHz) – very important, Japan-specific low-band (au, some Docomo)
Band 19 (800 MHz) – Japan-specific, key for Docomo rural coverage
Band 28 (700 MHz) – newer, expanding coverage
Band 41 (2500 MHz, TDD) – capacity in cities
:backhand_index_pointing_right: Bands 18/19 are the big “gotcha”: many international phones don’t support them, which hurts rural/indoor reception.
:antenna_bars: 5G bands in Japan
Sub-6 GHz (most important)
n77 (3.7 GHz) – main 5G band
n78 (3.5 GHz) – common
n79 (4.5 GHz) – Japan-specific, used heavily by Docomo
mmWave (limited, city hotspots)
n257 (28 GHz)
:mobile_phone: Will a foreign phone work in Japan?
Usually yes, but with caveats:
:white_check_mark: Calls, data, SMS generally work
:warning: Coverage may be weaker outside cities if missing Bands 18/19
:warning: Docomo 5G may be limited without n79
iPhones (XS and newer) and most recent flagship Androids support almost all Japanese bands and work great.

No, 4G bands 18 & 19 are not supported but wait for Plamen to answer you officially.

I can share my reply in another post about connectivity in Japan. Refer to the official documentation for the band support. If a band is missing, it means it’s not supported.

We have several customers in Japan, who have received their phone. We didn’t receive any feedback regarding connectivity, so we’re assuming that connectivity is OK. Maybe not in all areas, since not all bands are supported on the device.

We have a return window for the BraX3 that gets you a full refund (15 days from receiving the product). That’s kind of an insurance against issues such as connectivity.
