Unlocking the phone

Hello everybody, Excited about the Brax3. So I’m just getting familiar with things. Trying to set up the phone with T mobile. They said my phone was locked and needs to be unlocked. Does anyone know how I can get the phone unlocked ? I did purchase a sim card. T mobile seems baffled by the phone and wasn’t sure if it could be set up. I may try to go into the T mobile store to see if I have any luck. I’m in central CA Thanks

To unblock boot loader go to settings in your brax3 and type in bootloader in the search bar. You will see the option to Unlock Bootloader. You may need to become a developer for first. To do that go to settings and type in “about”. Scroll all the away to bottom and keep tapping on “build number” until it says you’re a Developer. After this go back to settings and type in “Bootloader” and then unlock the Bootloader. I have Mint T-Mobile (similar to yours except its an mobile virtual network, riding on T-Mobile network) and it works great ! Good luck and probably no need to go to T-Mobile. You can Do this right away

thank you that is helpful

Hey, IIRC Brax 3 phones are not “locked”. I am assuming that your carrier was telling you the the phone was Carrier 'Locked". It is not. No need to unlock the boot loader unless you are wanting to install a different OS. Whoever you talked with was not correct and I would contact them again and ask for clarification. If they cannot give you that, then ask to speak with someone with more technical expertise. It is likely that your API is not populated with the correct info. Do a serach on this forum for t-mobile api…lots of info! best luck!

My Brax3 works great with T-Mobile, Brax 3 is not locked, Do go to t-moble site (Or you can lookup in past posts here) and lookup APN (Access point settings) and enter them into your phone. It will work great then. You can google how to do this and see fast easy videos, or again search APN settings in this community . Cheers, Doug

Yeah T-Mobile is easy and works great, shouldn’t need to talk to anyone, just get a Sim card and insert and the phone should work.

You need it to delete ‘emergency alerts’ and similar. A spy program that cant be blocked or disabled normally if you dont nave root privilege. The ‘blocks’ offered are useless, it say that can ignore them if want. The ones you can disable to let you think it will not work. Program has controllo on all . And can connect activating bluetooth to all . Who run it? Government. Last try of it in Italy in my city was for a burning manifacture. 100 km far .Totally useless. You close 2 roads and no need for this shit. I had disabled all program ‘options’ for alerts. It started ringing blocking phone and car navigator when i was at dangerous cross of unknow road. Next emergency? You can choose: pollution, pandemic (fake)hot weather or cold….whatever they want
