I tested everything. I still had to be connected through USB to have the display functions etc. But phone, sms etc. all worked on a 6month old AlphaRomeo SUV (rental car).
In my Private Nissan, none works. Only Bluetooth standard functionality.
My wife’s Samsung A54 could do it all over WiFi BTW.
