What if i need Big Bad Meta?

So I’m a full time artist. As such Instagram displays my work to the world, gets me clients, brings people to exhibitions and therefore helps pay my mortgage. Using intagram only on desktop in a browser is a non starter. It just doesn’t reliably work. It used to. Also often when traveling for exhibitions I need to be able to interact with Instagram. I hate that this is the case….but it is.

So……i don’t have or want any meta spyware on my brax. What would you suggest I do?

My first thought would be to have another device also degoogled with no sim that is only for meta so it can’t steal any connected data. Is this a reasonable option?

Yes - probably your only suitable solution. Just need to think about how it connects - mobile data may be better than your home wi-fi for example… to keep it isolated and make location data less accurate (e.g. keep wi-fi disabled on it).

Without a sim in it I will need WiFi to do anything.

I will probably hotspot from my phone when travelling. At home WiFi is from 4g anyway, nothing else out here.
