Are FIDOS/FIDOS2 tokens working with Brax3 NFC?

Is the Brax3 phone able to work with FIDOS/FIDOS2 hardware tokens over the NFC antenna? I have seen this post about Yubikey tokens working with Brax3, but thus far I was not able to use the NFC antenna with a NFC FIDOS token to authenticate into apps such as Bitwarden.

Experience:

  1. I open Bitwarden and it opens a browser for webauth.
  2. When I try to use the a NFC FIDOS token to authenticate, the browser does not pick up the FIDOS token.

Issue:

  • I am not certain if the NFC is not picking up my NFC FIDOS token or if the Brax3 phone is not able to work with NFC tokens at this time.

Questions:

In an attempt to duplicate what you are seeing with brax3 phone, brave browser, bitwarden and yubikey, I was successful in using the yubikey as a passkey with brave browser and bitwarden on my linux server. But when was trying to do the same thing with brave and bitwarden on the brax phone,it failed. I installed bitwarden on brax 3, it had my yubikey setup as a passkey. When I trying to authenticate with the passkey using bitwarden, it opened up the brave (default) browser to ask me to put the yubikey in the usb port and touch the button which I did, then the browser was suppose to go back to the bitwarden app, but it did not. Bitwarden did not complete authentication.

Hope this helps.

I couldnt get mine to work with NFC but it did work via USB after allowing microG access. MicroG probably has something to do with NFC functionality.
