FYI…Instead of using google authenticator, I went with yubikey for 2FA. Just to let everyone know, that it works great. (YubiKey 5C NFC) with yubikey app from Aurora. I was able to easily port my codes from google over to it.
Yes, yubi and the yubi app for codes works. What is not working is the yubi and passkeys, or secure key authentication in the browsers… but that is really an AOSP thing at the moment.
Thanks for the information.

I tried to install Yubico Authenticator. I am spoofing a pixel 9 and logged in as anonymous. It said not available. I changed phone to pixel 9 fold and it seemed happy and began the install. But during the install an App installer window came up at the bottom of the screen and in red said java.lang.illegalAurgumentException:Expected URL.scheme’http’ or ‘https’ but not scheme was found for [blank] at r6.u$sa.g(…..
The exact same thing happened when I downloaded the app first and then the same error. Any thoughts?
