It seems the audio is being significantly over-driven in the 6.9 version that is prior to the hotfix 6.9 version. The audio comes across too loudly now and clips (displays audio distortion). I fear this will damage the speaker over time. Can this be dialed back just a bit?
Is anyone else experincing this? We are very happy this has been adjusted as the sound was far too quiet before; but backing it off just a bit on the max level allowed will probably be beneficial over the long term for the phone speaker.

Maybe that is something changes in the AudioFX app can address?

You know what? I bet you’re right. I forgot that I enabled AudioFX and turned everything all the way up because of the audio volume issues we had on the older versions. I’m switching that back to the normal setting and will see if that takes care of the issue. Thanks!

Updating all phones to the hotfix now as well.
I don’t seem to get any changes to my audio when I swap AudioFX profiles. Even when I turn it off, there is no discernible change in the audio levels.
The newest 6.9 hotfix also has not changed the overly loud and distorted audio levels/quality. Not that I expected it to since it wasnt in the changelog.
