BLE Radar used cases and app functionalities

Following up on Braxman’s last video, how about sharing tips on using the BLE radar app?

Is there anything particular that you’d like to do?

Generally, the app scans bluetooth devices near you.
I just ran a scan and noticed quite a few apple and samsung devices near me. BraX3 doesn’t show on the scan (I did the scan with another device of course).

I ran a couple scans and noticed the “connect” button on the devices listed. Not sure what that does at the moment , I ll have to run some tests. I wonder how it differentiates itself from a regular IP/MAC address scanner.

I was just playing with it on my pre Brax3 phone, before I get it, and it was always running and I couldn’t figure if I gave it permission to but can’t find where to deny it.
Using an Android, btw. It just annoyed me to be running all the time.

I denied letting it run in the background, which somehow means it cannot see androids. It only scanned apple phones when I was playing with it… Have you tried changing the permission in general phone settings > apps?

When I was setting it up a permission window popped up as I was putting my finger down. It disappeared as quickly as it showed up but I thought I recognized the word background. I believe I gave it permission, but I couldn’t find how to take that away.
I looked the apps permission up on the phone itself.
I eventually uninstalled.
