Alot of people in Australia would like to order the BRAX 3 Privacy Phone, but there seems to be some major confusion on shipping and delivery times and even if there are any BRAX 3 Privacy Phones available for Australian Customers.
Can you please confirm if I place an order tomorrow using Indiegogo, can I expect to get delivery in 2025 or is this just not able to be confirmed.
Even if this is not possible I would rather your company be upfront and honest and let Australian customers know what they can expect if they place an order for the BRAX 3 Privacy Phone.
FWIW I am in NZ and pre-ordered in April, confirmed order in July, and received phone mid-late August. So no problem with delivery times.
Several other people in both AU and NZ have posted here and received their phones so physical shipping to the antipodes no issue.
However based on latest official announcements any new orders will come from the new production run stock - this is expected to arrive at warehouse(s) and start shipping in December, but should ship very promptly once the stock arrives.
I’m in Australia and paid for my phone in Oct 2024 and don’t have it. It’s a complete lottery. I’ve also got heaps of mates waiting to see mine before they order - most of them won’t be taking the risk after seeing how Brax handles logistics, but more importantly, how poor their customer service is. You pays your money, you takes your chances.
FWIW I have contacted BraxTech Support multiple times since July (maybe about 7 times if you count the couple where I had to reply to their reply with further info as 2 contacts), and always had excellent support, a response within 12-48 hours of sending each email, and a positive resolution. So I am surprised so many people have expressed frustration with their experience or apparently had no response to emails… makes me wonder if support team aren’t even getting those emails in some cases for whatever reason, in the case where people say they have had no reply?
I’m sure people have different results. But there’s a common theme which gels with my experience that most support emails with regards to orders are responded to several days later, with a generic ‘its coming’, or check out the forum.
I haven’t contacted them about anything else because I don’t have a phone yet.
It wouldn’t be too hard to keep a spreadsheet of orders, locations, expected shipping etc and keep people informed. Chasing around on a forum to keep up to date doesn’t cut it.
Good to hear some people get results though - helps keep the disappointment in check
Rob Braxman needs to let people outside the United States know that they are having significant delivery issues particularly to Australia and New Zealand.
@RobBraxman someone needs to provide weekly updates on shipping and delivery delays, especially coming up to Christmas 2025.
If you’ve received a notification that the order is confirmed, then it exists. Since you have an order number, seems that’s the case.
