BraX3 delivery updates

Thanks, you just reminded me to watch that. I had a lot of distractions but I’ll check it now.

Those of us that pre ordered right at the beginning should have received the phone including the free rugged case first.

I ordered in October and I am still waiting. My friend ordered in May and now enjoys her new phone.

Without the early backers, the sales goals may not have been met so early.

Delaying the sending of the phone to the early purchasers and sending them to late buyers is not good business.

Imagine booking a table at a restaurant, several months in advance. You arrive on the day and have to wait several hours to be served, whilst other tables that came in hours after you are served straight away. You would be very peeved.

Same goes for the phone. You support a product early on to help get it off the ground and then you get kicked in the teeth.

No excuse, it should be first come, first served.

Always next week, next week. I’ve given up and will source something else. You do these things in good faith and this happens. They got their money, they looked after those in the US. Terrible customer service, and I wish I’d never bothered.

I have banged on about this phone to a large number of people who have been waiting to see my phone before they commit. Fortunately they aren’t out of pocket because of me.

Ant updates on when this would be shipped to Australia?
I might need to move, ie my address could change in the next 2-3 months?

Wait. The Indigogo survey I’ve been ignoring has to be filled out to ship?

This is why I asked when I read here about the survey. I was expecting a BRAXtech survey.

Okay, I got that survey done and it’s just about Indiegogo. I can’t see it being related to the fulfillment.

Indiegogo contribution #5726
Please advise.

Transmission end.

How to complete your IndieGoGo pre-order (9th July 2025)

Progress
For smoother process, we’re sending out emails including links to your orders bit by bit.
So far, we’ve sent:

  • US contributors: sent to all IndieGoGo contributions until 29th of May
  • Canadian contributors: sent to all IndieGoGo contributions until 29th of May
  • EU contributors: sent to all IndieGoGo contributions until 4th of July.
  • RoW contributors: sent all indieGoGo contributions until 4th of July

Hi #plamen, what is the ???Progress??? now (24th August 2025)?
A lot of people are spending a lot of time unnecessarily monitoring purchase completion and other [email protected] enquirers.

The project has currently raised $1,755,000 USD. Braxtech DOES have the financial resources to keep it’s customers properly informed. If Braxtech has the money to do this, what aspect of keeping it’s customers properly informed can it NOT afford?

I don’t want my order cancelled, I want honesty from YOU.

Hi community.

A few notes.

1. Order of shipping
Our fulfillment partner has ignored the order in which orders were supposed to get shipped.
Instead of taking original order numbers, as agreed, they’ve taken import date. Well, when importing orders, orders were imported in random sequence.
That basically means that a pledge placed on May 10th '25, could be delivered earlier than a pledge placed on November 1st '24.

2. Restocking phone case
It’s taking longer for our fulfillment partner to process the incoming batch than it is supposed to. We don’t understand why, but this is the situation. Until we restock we can’t ship out orders containing phone cases. It’s not because we’re trying to save a few bucks on double shipment. We just lack flexibility on what we can do, as we’re shipping orders in the thousands, everything automated.

I understand the frustrations everyone has. The reality is that WE SUCK IN LOGISTICS. This is a small community project. We couldn’t afford to hire a COO with experience in international logistics for electronics - not just yet. We’re trying to figure things out as we go. We’ve shipped about 85% of all orders. The remaining 15% are unfortunately painful for different reasons.

If this is not good enough and the process is “too much”, you can get a full refund at any point. That’s the best we can do at this point. We will do better next time.

Hi #plamen.
Thanks for the clarification. On the point of clarity I take your statement to also mean there are no hardware issues with the Brax3 including (e.g.) design, manufacturing & assembly quality etc?

I feel like I am somewhere off the Yellow Brick Road? A rabbit wearing a crazy hat is jumping around some playing cards dancing in an AI forest of goo?

I’ve primarily worked in logistics for over 40 years and much of that in 3PL & 4PL operations; and I have been meaning the last couple of weeks to post something along these lines as a suggestion for why so many early backers weren’t getting the first deliveries… It is common when using a 3PL service provider for their system to not process orders in the same sequence as what the source system did - for various reasons. This can sometimes be unintentional due to how systems work or are automated, but can also be partly due to human error (e.g. processing in LIFO sequence instead of FIFO). So can be a trap for the inexperienced if not aware of the risk and across the fine detail of how their 3PL provider is managing process…

So I can understand totally what’s happened from a logistical perspective. That doesn’t make it right from a customer service perspective. Unfortunately it doesn’t help those early backers and to all of you I really really feel your frustration. I backed in April and am lucky enough to have my phone now, while many of you who backed pre-Christmas or in Jan-Feb don’t. I genuinely feel bad about that…

…but I also hope despite the frustration you will have the patience to hang on a bit longer and wait it out - because I think it’s worth it. My first impressions are the phone is great, and this has been an amazing project.

Yeah, this must be rough for you and your team! Im one of the late orders, #4800 ish? So i expected to have to wait… plus im in retail so have seen complications like this. Just know that you have at least one guy thats fine with waiting, i know the phone is going to be worth it!

Thanks for posting that. I think it always helps to unserstand the complexity. I had a friend who got a whole degree in this in college & just listening to him talk about it was heavy. Its no simple thing as you explained. It is a pretty amazing field.

For everyone waiting, I had part of my order shipped and I completely agree with you - it is 100% worth the wait. I set up an apple user who never uses linux or degoogled devices & they are completely satisfied with the way the OS works, how easy it is to get apps they wanted, and love the battery life. It is not a junk phone, but it is also not the latest iphone (full of bloat restriction & spying on you) so keep perspective of what it is & why you supported - a google/apple free, ad id free phone. I would have happily paid a lot more for this phone if it was on the mainstream market. In fact I would have paid more just for a phone with this OS.

I agree and also a late purchaser. The fact they are keeping everyone updated is good and sadly a rare thing these days
