Perhaps. But that’s not the case with @plamen/Braxnet. So we should be getting real and periodic updates on the progress, especially since they were supposedly on the verge of releasing a fix weeks ago.

I think their team on that side of the project is simply too small.
and I don’t know what are the actual expenses of brax tech but look at this this way. Their email services which does not provide much and no encryption like tuta does, cost more than tuta.
But we know for a fact that servers in the US whether you buy them or you rent them cost less than in Europe.
The service provided by braxmail should be costing 12 euros a year to be exact( so aprrox 14 dollars, instead of 99), the same as posteo, because it does offer the same service. And I am pretty sure that Rob did not hire like a big team of lawyers on retainers… Posteo offering even a better service since they develop an encrypting system for them to have no access to your information even under authorities requests.
So besides the fact that he does not want to invest most of the money in the company or has maybe other expenses (I don’t know) well, we are stuck in that situation.
And this example from braxmail can be extrapolated on every services offered by rob, including this phone. Rob and brax in general which still I support even with al that in mind, because for me it is important to have plurality and support project even non viable or obviously not what it should be.(this phone should cost way less for the specs it offers than what it costs now. As I said my point could be extrapolate to everything in braxtech).
Totally disagree with the pricing complaints and I think it has no place in this thread. But they owe their customers more than to take months to fix a showstopper bug without giving frequent real progress updates.
sure be in denial, I have written more than one post on the subject of all the failure of that phone and why it should not have been that price tag.
You are idealizing this company. They won’t give you updates until they have some. I have said that many times to @plamen and other teams accross the world, give status report even when nothing is happening. Nobody is listening. So it is exactly the same thing happening here.
