Can't access my home wifi with my new Brax!

Yes, it says about security not privacy, iPhone is maybe the most secure phone existing.

Unplugged Phone? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1xL4vBkOJ8g

Can you tell us the make and model of your ethernet to USB-C adapter? I bought the Belkin linked in a recently closed thread (Belkin F2CU040) but I have not been able to get it to work. I am plugging in directly to a cable modem that serves a public IP v4 address (no NAT router). Thanks!

I have the same issue and I do not know how to fix it.

It could only be fixed via an OS update. The developers are still working on it. We will post an update when done and updated phones remotely.

So it is possible to update them even though you cannot get any internet connection, or what are we supposed to do?

For the few of us who don’t have an alternate wifi/ethernet or sim card, I want to say I’ve read you can install from a file transferred from your computer. I’m not positive though. If so, that’s probably how I’ll do it but if not I can always transfer my sim card.

Hi. I just received my brand new Brax3 today and made the first set-up.
Unfortunately I’m also facing the same WiFi issue on my main WiFi Box (incorrect password), but the device connects well on my 2 Devolo WiFi repeaters (1srt floor and downstairs).

I did upgrade the system from IodéOS 6.3 to 6.7, but this didn’t change anything.

Anyway, I’m glad that they are working on it, so that problem should be fixed in a future update.

I’ll follow this tread to get the latest updates. Thank you.

I was not able to connect to 4 g og 5g via the sim card either, but I am not sure if I am able to get that to work through the settings. At least I was able to call and recive calls

Here’s a link to information I provided on “the other thread” (just reporting that I am still having a WPA2 connection failure at home, running the August 30, 2025 Brax3 update).

I just installed the latest update (IodeOS 6.8 Sept 29) and I still cannot connect to my wifi. This is getting ridiculous. If this problem will never be fixed, can you please point me to a recommended router I should purchase that will definitely work with the Brax3? I don’t have time to wade through 4 million posts on this subject. Please send a link to a working router with no mesh bs or other fancy garbage. Thank you.

Ridiculous is an understatement. @plamen was hoping a fix would be in place 3 weeks ago and here we are still waiting, 2 months since we started receiving our phones. You’d think if anything they’d be over-communicating because of this black eye, but instead we get no real progress updates.

Also updated to IodéOS 6.8. But the issue is still there. Let’s hope a fix along with 6.9.

I had the same issues with my Motorola cable modem. Eventually, I found I could only connect with WPA security; any higher version like WPA2 simply did not work. Risky running an old encryption scheme, but it is the only solution I found.

Edit: the 6.8 update changed nothing.

@rik @plamen Please give an update on the progress and an estimate of when a fix will be in place. I also think you guys ought to be giving weekly updates and it shouldn’t be incumbent on us to ask for updates.

read the other thread. @rik has already answered that and made a clear statement on this which I have commented .

First of all both situations of shipping delay and wifi connection issue were (or are) very frustrating.

I wanted to ask if there is a way to flash the braxphone with another OS, maybe braxOS, maybe lineageOS (not iodè) maybe e/OS solution or whatever could be useful. Is it something possible?

thank you
