Delivered phones?

Has anyone received their phones? We are going into July and no updates on USA deliveries. If you have received yours, please let us know.

I have not received mine. That update last week mentioned that they are still going through US Customs…? Seems like a long process for a phone. I was hoping they would ship this week.

14 days , 336 hours in US customs is what the story is now.

So nothing heard for 2 weeks, getting a bit worried now guys as i am in the UK and moving house in august and paid for the phone back in early April. NEED THIS SURVEY TO CHANGE DELIVERY ADDRESS ELSE I WILL NOT RECEIVE THE PHONE! @plamen @braxtechbrax3 are you able to provide an update for us please?

I am in UK also and awaiting the survey. The last reply from support (1st Jul) was that they would be sent out any day now.

Greetings Mr. Tango! Look, I don’t know much. All I know is that on Rob’s live feed last Thursday he said he has our phones and shipping would begin around June 30th. He showed one of the new phones in a new box during his live feed. Said they would be sent out in small batches. I’m waiting for mine too. Cheers!

Well folks, this a community project, we funded this, and we are subject to all real life challenges of the process.

When calibrating expectations keep in mind that this project is not by a mainstream surveillance economy asset company with well oiled gears to make us pay for ourselves being data mined and surveilled.

It is an outlier that this project is succeeding at all, and even exists.

I’d rather give grace, and am happy to support this process. There are so much that are outside the Brax and Partners’ control at this point with customs and shipping.

We are all anticipating the delivery equally.

I do not mind waiting for the phone, its the survey that i await for.

I do not want to receive the phone without having the opportunity to add accessories to my order.

These replies are just sad clearly trying to change a narrative after months of incorrect communication

I think there needs to be some patience with this, I know it can be frustrating for people but this is a boutique project so it’s never going to run to the original schedule. I realise certain dates were published but with this type of project there needs to be a bit of acceptance- as someone else said this isn’t Amazon or similar!

Clearing customs can be very slow and then processing and dispatching large numbers of orders can also be - especially if a 3PL provider is doing the physical work. I have faith in Rob, @plamen, and team and it’s way too soon, IMO, to be losing trust in this project. Remember some Kickstarter projects can take 2+ years to be delivered and there’s no tech involved…

I purchased in April and, due to the type of project and the fact I am in NZ, I will be happy just to have my phone and accessories by October.

Btw…Rob has another live feed tonight on Rumble at 11:00 p.m. (EST). That would be 8:00 pm Pacific time. Great opportunity to ask him about our phone status.

I don’t know man, I can’t remember any incorrect information. I actually think they have been quite transparent. I’m not going to blame BraX for the inefficiencies of a government agency like Customs. That being said I am very much looking forward to receiving my device.

That is fantastic, but what I said was I couldn’t remember any “incorrect information” regarding the status of the project. Was there in fact “incorrect information” disseminated by BraX? My contention was that they have been transparent at all steps. What exactly is your contention? Do you think we are all soon to be victims of a scam? I agree that the delays suck, but I don’t think there is anything sinister behind it.

Also, I was unaware that importing goods form overseas was such a serious measure of life experience! Congratulations to you for your impressive accomplishment.

Fresh perspective here. I searched for the device on Google, got to the braxtech site, but the store link it points to for preorder seems to be broken. Thought to check brax community out, learnt on another thread that the braxtech store is a legacy option and indiegogo is preferred. Hit IndieGogo and was very pleased to learn that the project achieved great support, but the perks referred to in the campaign page claim 347 put of 1000 claimed, that adds up to approximately 10% of the total pledges, which is confusing. Ship date (I imagine defaults to..) 1970. Thought to check x for a timeline of updates, but the account linked to the site has no posts.

Is there a thread where I could get up to speed about the actual facts of the campaign? I would also like to get involved and put in some work to sort out some of this confusion, if that’s a thing.

afaik the phones are tied up in customs, but should be out of customs soon and shipping out to people this week, in order of purchase.

This isnt true, no bill of lading, entry number, or arrival notice will ever show the timeline they are claiming.

Will we get tracking numbers when our phones are shipped here in the US?
