I have not seen this in a while and am wondering why I have still not received my 3 “free “
memory cards for the 3 Brax 3 phones I purchased 1.5 years ago? You guys remember when those of us that got on board really early and got them over the hump and they said we would get a free memory card as a bonus? Does anybody else remember that? Are you guys just hoping everyone forgets about it so you don’t have to honor it? What is the excuse now since you have sent out most if not all of batch 1? Are we, the early buyers ever going to get our promised bonus?
I am one of those waiting for my SD cards. I don’t remember ever getting a message for a credit. Does anyone have that message or email? Thanks for posting.
Yep, I mentioned it to plamen in a PM the other day asking about whether you could use it on open_slate order on Indiegogo. They are still trying to figure out how to do it, but hopefully the latter may end up being an option…
I don’t know where you got the $60 value from, but I essentially already answered this above, barring @plamen advising otherwise. They are still working out a process to issue credits/vouchers:

Everyone keeps saying “they” sent out emails even though many people have stated they did not receive an email concerning this, me being one who did not. I purchased my phones the very first week they came available, not sure why I would not have been on the email list?
It certainly feels like they are just putting it off and putting it off until everyone forgets about it then they won’t have to honor the reward that we made possible?
I really do love my phones but there are so many, I’ll call them inconsistencies instead of lies
throughout this whole project and the complete lack of communication from those that make promises and don’t follow through?
I didn’t get a direct email. I got an email stating there was an update on the indegogo page.
I tend to have more patience with companies that are not large corporations, i.e. a small group of dedicated staff that are trying to do dozens of things at the same time, and also have a life outside of their passion, versus a corporation who’s sole obligation is to their shareholders.
Not saying there isn’t room for improvement but I’m generally happy with what I have recieved and how it works

I just coincidentally bought a reasonably fast card on Amazon AU yesterday that cost me A$60 too so it seemed oddly coincidental amount which may have just clouded my memory.
To best of my knowkedge they didn’t - AFAIK they announced it here in the main thread and as @Ricketts said replicated that on Indiegogo. They may have subsequently mentioned it in an update email but I don’t recall that specifically. There’s clearly intent to honour this AFAICS and I agree with:
We live in a society that is use to an instant gratification, me, me, me, type service - this is exemplified in the US, and to a lesser extent in Europe, by Amazon; and generally sets an expectation of instant overnight outcomes. But this is a bespoke project by a small start up company trying to do multiple things at once with no preexisting infrastructure or systems… Its not as easy as people may think it sounds… They also chose Indiegogo as their initial platform and there are a lot of limitarions due to that, which are outside their control.
Agreed. Its not been perfect and there is room for improvement, but we are getting something not available anywhere else, breaking the shackles of G & A, and I believe, there is genuine integrity behind the BraxTech team about what they are endeavouring to do.
I completely understand what you are saying about patience, remember, I purchased when the phone FIRST came out, 2 YEARS AGO!! Yes, I waited a year for my phone. Plus, the memory card issue is now coming on ONE YEAR old?
Again, hang on, until everyone forgets about it then it will just go away.
