Generally, brax.me is (forum and store) is managed by Rob’s company Braxmobile. Community.braxtech.net (as well as the IndieGoGo campaign, and brax tech stores) are managed by Brax Technologies - a company in which Rob is a partner.
Here are the differences between the 2 forums:
Both forums can offer help and support with your BraX3. This forum focuses exclusively on products offered from Brax Technologies (currently the BraX3). Brax.me forum helps with services and products offered through the brax.me store (vpn, routers, etc.)
This forum hosts official documentation for Brax Technologies products, including tech specs, certificates, official company announcements, etc.
Brax.me is a chat-based forum, where you can directly message someone on the forum or join a group chat. We found that a lot of folks prefer a topic based forum for support, as they can easily search across topics and find an answer before having to post (rarely a problem is unique).
The content of this forum is open to the public - no registration needed. Brax.me requires an account.
I would like to get a brax phone, and may wait for the next iteration. Currently I have an iphone 14. I have Visible by Verizon which is pretty trouble free as an internet provider, and only $25/month, but Verizon is not compatible with a brax phone. Also I thought I would mention that I googled the brax phone. There is a Reddit section that says Rob is a scammer. Well we know who doesn’t encourage privacy for us, so they are likely posting such nonsense. I need a link to find the pricing on the braxmail. That does not seem simple. No hyperlinks here.
