After a long wait and struggle, we’re happy to share that we’re now ready to help you complete your IndieGoGo (or legacy Brax Store) orders before we start shipping.
We basically scrapped the “survey” solutions as it wasn’t compatible with non-US compliance. We’ve created our own solution to integrate indiegogo with our store and enable you to complete your orders, change details, add accessories and/or pay taxes.
If you’ve already received a survey link (US and Canadian backers with pre-orders before 29th of May) - you can disregard this.
If you just received your email including a link to complete your order - please read this article for useful information before you complete your order.
What’s the purpose of this step
This final step has different implications, depending on the region you are based in, as follows:

European Union | Yes - must do | VAT collection, change of delivery address, add more items to your pre-order. |

Rest of World | No - it’s optional, but highly recommended | Prepayment of taxes and custom duties (for seamless delivery of the package at your door), change of delivery address, add more items to your pre-order. |
What to know before you start

Before you start the process, you first need to receive an email from us including a link to the store and your order. We’re sending out emails bit by bit to ensure smoother process. Check this thread for more information on the status of email including order links sent.

To ensure you don’t have to pay again for what you already paid for via IndieGoGo, you will be using store credit to discount the paid amount from the checkout in our store.

To benefit from the store credit, you will need to login to your store account. We already created one for you. So just enter your email (the same you received the notification on) in the prompt, and you will receive a 6 digit code to help you log in. Once you login, the option to use store credit should be available. Make sure you’re not entering an email alias (e.g. @pm.me instead of protonmail.me or vice versa)

You won’t be able to add or remove items from the checkout menu. You’d be able to add more items (more BraX3 devices, accessories, etc.) on the Thank You page, which will open once you compete checkout.

Adding more items will create a new order.
For customer from Rest of World (RoW)
During checkout, you will be able to select different delivery methods. One of the delivery options is DDP (delivery duty paid) - taxes and duties collected. We highly recommend using that method so you won’t have to deal with custom clearance of your package. We do not charge a fee for the DDP service. You will basically pay the same amount of taxes and fees to your local custom authority if you are to opt-in for non-DDP delivery.
