There is no township around here. Just scattered Off Grid types. It is nice to have four seasons a year, minimal traffic, no homeless, no criminals and an occasional train whistle. City folk would freak out to learn there are real stars in the night sky. The “night train” of Starlink satellites is very kewl to watch.
Sure. Does it matter what physical size it is? My hypothesis is that it is a ratio of population to area ie population density. You put enough rats in a box and they will kill each other for sustenance. In the USA, even expensive areas start to degrade when the population density increases. The other extreme is prison. Control of the prisoners is by reducing their physical space. From one prisoner per cell ( prison luxury) to 15 prisoners per cell sharing the same small space. Remove natural lighting and replace it with always on electric lighting and watch the tensions increase. It is like boiling frogs.
I am in A country.
Cows, sheep, goats, horses, chickens, ducks, botflies and mosquitoes.

Yes, I agree, bums all around the place complaining there are no jobs.
I try not to speculate about anything! There is enough craziness in reality to keep me busy. Luckily AFIK none of my neighbors are thieves. Even if there were one in the bunch the population density is so low that the slightest mistake would be detected. My neighbor across the street is over 1/4 mile away. There are no roads or paths connecting us. I have rarely seen a person riding a horse in that direction, but the ground is not level. I can’t even see the houses in each of the other cardinal directions. Good fences makes good neighbors. The only reason I am concerned about delivery for my Brax3 phones is that the only access to my property is through a locked gate. I have no reason to unlock the gate unless I expect a delivery. What this means, is that during the daytime hours I must be present to open the gates or the delivery vehicles will not have a location to safely deliver a package. The only access road has a steep drop on each side and this deters traffic. If they are using a GPS or digital map they do not want to continue much past my property realizing there is no way out. This fact also deters anyone who wants to “borrow” property that is not theirs. I have tracking on every delivery so I know when to keep the gates open. No big deal. It makes life simpler to know the details. Just for fun I have security cameras set up to monitor my animals. My favorite camera is a PTZ 4K mounted about 40 feet up a utility pole. I can see a person with facial detail at about 1/4 mile. The camera uses ai and autotracks in XYZ directions for multiple targets. I rarely look at the monitors since the ai is so good. If anything is suspicious I get an alert. I got an alert about 10 months ago about a neighbors party and I learned that I now have 4 foxes that visit at night. FYI the camera itself weighs about 20 pounds and is on its own power supply. The feature I enjoy most is that in the dark it has a built in laser illuminator that is also smart and only fires up when ai tells it to. The reason the camera is mounted so high is that it is not eye safe within about ten feet. I can not get that close since it is 40 feet above me. The IR wavelength is longer making it very difficult to see without an NVD. Most of the time, I forget that the camera is there, it is also in a covert weatherproof housing ( -40 -+140 deg F). Once or twice a year I fill up the fox dens and they move on?
This is not supposed to be sarcastic. It is actually real! The only difference is that instead of a tall drink of Coke, it is a bottle of BRAWNDO- with electrolytes.
