before it worked when first installing.then i havent used it anymore because i need the phone on the wifi and it didnt connect with the wifi.no i wanted to try again as i saw a link for maybe the wifi will work now.. but when i switched on the phone.. aurora wasnt working . in the end i needed to put the phone back in fabric reset and start over.. aurora worked but then installing telegram .. its not working without wifi.. i still havent been able to test if it can work on our wifi as i went to a friend .. someone knows how to restore this so i can use apps when on the road? and the link for the connect on jrs router.. i need to open that on the brax phone right and then manually update it there ? thanks
If you have no data service when away from WiFi, it is usually related to incorrect apn settings, which should populate when the phone connects to the mobile tower, but often don’t. Your phone provider (or a web search) will provide the details to manually add if required.
To connect WiFi just click on it and enter the modem password and it should work, assuming you have updated the phone since you received it.
Search the forum if you get stuck- most answers can be found as your issue is common

Well I have been in contact with Patriot Mobile and we have exhausted all reasonably possible number combination of user names, passwords, and addresses connected to APN, SIM, and IMEI. Further more, my other two Brax3 phones work fine; and I replaced the SIM from the Brax3 into my old Brax2 and the Data auto-connects fine. The issue is not that I get data when I am near WIFI; WIFI auto-connects and works great in both Brax2, and 3 wherever WIFI is available. So from my trouble shooting this problem, it seems to be clear that something has been engaged in the Brax3 settings that is hindering data to not auto-connect; or the hardware has come disconnected somehow, because the data use to work; I have even taken the SIM out of my wife’s Brax3 and put it my Brax3 and the data still has no auto-connect function.
