I have multiple Brax3 devices I am trying to connect to the same wifi AP, I have confirmed other devices are able to connect and I have confirmed the password is correct; but the Brax3 devices keep giving the “check password and try again” error. We have tried setting the AP to 2.4GHz g only, 2.4 GHz n/g/b mixed, 5GHz n/a mixed, all fail with only the Brax3 phones while other devices authenticate correctly and work properly.
It works out of town, but not at my home or clients,so strange! Edit: we’re at a hotel, so I don’t know the Wi-Fi protocols here at the hotel, nor my client’s.
What types are your AP at home and client’s AP? I’m using enterprise hardware. Are those 2 normal SoHo routers from the store? If so, the issue may be impacting a braod array of AP types. I wonder if its specific chipsets that its failing with.
I disabled WPA and was able to connect to an open network on the same AP. So, it’s something to do with the authentication operation in the software.
Yes, it is related to what wireless security protocols the router is using.
This issue is being discussed in the Brax3 category under the topic “Can’t access my home wifi with my new Brax”

Thank you for this. Sadly, I confirmed this did not fix either of my AP connection issues. I put my details in the main thread. Appreciate your efforts!

not having t-mobile data connectivity is not the same issue
I had problems with security cameras saying the same thing. I found my internet service is only putting out the 2 G signal. I had to buy a WAVELINK signal EXTENDER. This device will bring both signals out. Then i could connect to the 2G signal. Hope This Helps
Wifi authentication issues solved in latest beta. Here’s the post with the build link, and a post or 2 down I explain more fully the fix.
It will also come as a “stable OTA” update in the near future as well.
