How to re-flash serial number after formating and updating iodeOS on BraX3?
You can do that following our article How to Change the IMEI Number on Your BraX3. There is currently an issue preventing the SN Writer tool to work on iodeOS. But it will get resolved soon.
I suspected that may be the case. Can one also use the "Read&Write Tool, Modem Meta Tool or the MauiMeta Tool?
I’m almost 100% sure that any of these tools won’t work. It needs to be a MediaTek tool that works specifically for their chip. Feel free to try it out, though.
