Is anyone else unable to send pictures and video clips to any phone? I can not personally send to android nor iOS. I’ve been in telecom for 18 years and cannot troubleshoot the issue and I got on the phone with T-Mobile they can’t figure it out.
Hi @Judah12144k welcome to the forum. There are several existing threads on this so searching is your friend.
Are you an ex-iPhone person and if so have you deactivated your number from iMessage and Facetime in iCloud/iOS?

Thanks for responding with this info. Yes I can navigate iPhone well. However no I have not deactivated iMessage nor the other setting in iCloud. I did not think that was required. But it’s worth the try since it hasn’t been attempted yet. I will also take a look at the thread links you sent as well. Thanks again.
It is absolutely essential @Judah12144k - you will not be able to send or receive MMS and other non-SMS messages reliably from any Android Phone if your number is registered with Apple for iMessage & Facetime.
Well that seems to make sense. The other threads I had already seen on this topic and were repeats of everything I had done prior to even checkin the forum. But your suggestion was one not done so far. So when I settle down from the day, I’m going to do your suggested option. I’ll return here with the results.
Well I have the same problem using mint mobile. Cannot solve the problem. Reset everything, called mint, no answers. Funny thing. If I text a photo from another android phone, I am able to text it back to that phone. No photo texted from my phone will send. I am just about ready to go back to my murena terracube 2s.
Were you a previous iPhone user? In the vast majority of cases (but not all) that’s usually been the issue.
Thanks for the the heads up but I have always used android. Still can’t sole the issue.
Have you reached out to Mint Mobile and asked if they see an issue on their end.
Some BraX3 users reported that Mint Mobile flagged their device as carrier locked and restricted services. All got resolved within a couple of days from reporting it to Mint.
Just spent about an hour talking with Mint. They checked everything. Said my phone is compatible, and fully functional from their end. I was told that the issue is with Brax - that Brax has to unlock my phone or tell me how to do it. I can receive texts and mms messages and can send texts but cannot send mms messages. I suspected the problem might be locking my phone and undid that but it did not solve the problem.
I think that’s what @plamen is saying @albert , the BraX3 isn’t locked, it’s Mint who think it is. There have been others in this situation - maybe one of them can comment on what they said to Mint to get it resolved…
Maybe have a quick read through these threads if you haven’t already:
Also the post from another thread that mentions the post in the thread above specifically:
This latter is from this thread (if you haven’t read it already) so may or may not be anything of further use in that:
I had the same issue with messaging y’all describe. I solved my issue by downloading a different messenger app from the Aurora store. I used QKSMS but I’m sure you can try others. I think the native app needs an update. I will try it again but for now I’m groovy. I’m using Mint mobile
Hello Plamen, so I have the screen protector on from the factory and I put the privacy screen on top of that when it arrived including upgraded case it came with. However the phone drop on the floor and screen cracked instantly. How do I buy a new glass for the screen and install it?. I had no idea that the screen was that fragile.
Ok, here’s my current status with the resolution that was suggested for not sending pics nor videos. After unregistering (succesfully) my phone number from imessage and facetime. I reinstalled my sim back into the Brax3 and the problem repeated. As we speak I’m on the phone with tmobile, and we did a conference call with apple. Apple confirmed my number is not registered with apple any longer. Apple and tmobile both have mentioned (RCS) reach communication services. However Brax does not have an RCS option in the messaging app to toggle or check. So maybe this is something that can be looked in to. My network setting have been reset with tmobile as well. We also tried with wifi on and off along with using only cellular.
@plamen maybe you can help or comment on this?
This is very good to know. Narrowing the problem to the app, and not the OS. Thanks for sharing!
Can you try to install the QKSMS app, as @L8N has suggested? It seems that it has resolved the issue for them?
when I saw L8N’s message in the thread about that I did go take a look at the app. So in other words, Fossify app is not compatible with iode for messaging, as far multi media goes then? Is that what I should take away from this?
Ok as of this moment I have downloaded qksms and to no avail even this app will not send a pic nor video. the message I keep getting on every thing is “did not send, tap to try again”. I have sinked the app with android to make it the native/ default app, since that was an option. I checked all settings. I’m going to do a complete phone reset back to factory settings. I don’t know what else to attempt.
No, I dont think so. e.g. I use FOSSIFY Messages for MMS happily (here in NZ, and on two different telcos). So its likely some idiosyncrasy with your carrier/telco (or location with them?) and the app.
Hence a different app works fine with your carrier; or a different carrier will also likely solve the problem with existing FOSSIFY app I suspect…
